ABOUT US

Joy In Hope was established in 2008 as a parent organization for Haitian Children’s Home in an effort to better meet the many needs observed in Haiti. This organization was founded with the mission to support, encourage, and build Haitian families in order to provide them with the spiritual, educational, cultural and physical foundation needed to impact their community, their nation, and the world for Christ. Joy In Hope accomplishes its mission through three branches of ministry: children’s homes, churches and schools and numerous outreach efforts such as educational programs, evangelism, feeding and nutritional programs and medical clinics. Each of these avenues allows Joy In Hope to provide a Christ-centered model for serving in the local community.

Joy In Hope is a 501(C)3 organization that is governed by a Board of Directors. All support provided to the organization is tax-deductible. Daily administration of the ministry in the United States is handled by Rick Smith, Joy in Hope Director and Kristi Daugherty, Director of Operations. Danny Pye, Director of Joy In Hope - Haiti oversees administration of the ministry in Haiti.
