STATEMENT OF FAITH

Joy In Hope believes that the only way to change lives in Haiti is by introducing people to Jesus Christ. Our focus is to use our homes, churches and schools to encourage each person to establish his or her own relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this because of our love for Him. We strive to model our lives and our ministry after His example of tangibly and practically meeting the needs of the community around us. We target children that have previously been discarded, abandoned, orphaned, and considered too risky for adoption because of their past wounds and experiences. We seek to serve communities that are financially desperate and spiritually destitute.

In doing so, we leverage our best time, energy, and resources toward providing a loving, compassionate environment where the Haitian people can experience life to its fullest and be equipped in every way to successfully pursue their hopes and dreams. We live this way, trusting God that the life transformations that take place as a result of our ministry will ripple out through the city of Jacmel, the nation of Haiti, and throughout generations of families to come.
